Open-world wolf sim
Wolf Tales - Wild Animal Sim
The best wolf sim on Android: it teaches you the country before it teaches you the menus.
Our score 8.9Play rating 4.6
Independent, Melbourne, since 2026
Four open worlds that put you inside the animal, and two puzzles that put it in the frame. Each one played over several evenings and written up properly, with no lists of thirty, no scores without an explanation, and no dates on the front page pretending anything here is news.
Store facts come from the Australian Google Play listings, checked on 10 September 2026. Everything else is one person opinion, and it says so.

Six games, one subject
Every review on the site
The whole catalogue, best first. The large one is the game I would install if I could only keep one; the five beside it cover everything else this corner of the store has to offer.

Nonogram puzzle
A clean nonogram engine under a moonlit wolf, and the calmest thing on this site.

Task-led wolf RPG

Wolf sim MMO
The most populated wolf map here, and the one with the least to do on it.

| Wolf: The Evolution Online RPG | Task-led wolf RPG | 15-25 minutes | Very low; it tells you what to do at all times | 4.3 (53.9K) | 7.4 |
| Wolf Jigsaw Puzzles | Jigsaw app | 15-30 minutes per puzzle | None whatsoever | 4.5 (1.63K) | 6.9 |

Every row is the same six games you will find in the catalogue above, laid out so the two right-hand columns sit next to each other. That pairing is the most useful thing on this page.
Reading the numbers
Every review here prints a Google Play average and an editorial score side by side, and they are answering different questions. The store average is a very large number of people rating an app once, usually early and usually generously. The score on the right is one person who kept the app on a phone for a fortnight and then wrote down why.
Where the two disagree is where the review is worth reading. Animal Kingdoms carries a respectable 4.4 on Google Play and takes the lowest score on this site, and the explanation is a whole section of its review rather than a line in a table.
A very large number of people rating an app once, most of them in the first week they installed it. It is a useful signal of whether something is broken and a poor signal of whether it is worth an evening.
The count matters more than the figure: Animal Kingdoms: Wolf Sim MMO carries 4.4 from 4.46K ratings, and both halves of that belong in the same sentence.
One person, an ordinary Android handset, at least three sessions on separate days at the hour the game was built for. It answers a single question: how glad was I that this app was on the phone.
Facts on every review - developer, rating, rating count, content rating, update date - come from the Australian Google Play listings and were checked on 10 September 2026.
