Terms of use
Updated 10 September 2026 · applies from that date
These terms govern your use of brickrecap.com. They are short because the site is simple: it publishes written opinions about six mobile games, it takes nothing from you, and it offers no service that could go wrong for you in any complicated way.
What this site is
brickrecap.com is an independent editorial publication written and maintained by Isla Mackenzie, an individual, of 99 Spring St, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia. It publishes reviews and reference articles about games available on the Google Play store.
The site sells nothing, hosts nothing for download, and provides no service beyond the reading of its pages. There are no accounts, no forms and no way to submit anything through the site.
Independence and non-affiliation
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected in any way to the developers or publishers of the games it writes about. Every studio named on this site is named because its work is the subject of a review.
This site is likewise not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Google LLC, Google Australia Pty Ltd, or the Google Play store. References to Google Play describe a public store listing and nothing more. Android is a trademark of Google LLC.
Nothing has been accepted from any developer, publisher or agency in exchange for coverage, for a score, or for the timing of a review. Where that ever changes, it will be disclosed on the page concerned.
Opinion, and how it should be treated
The scores and assessments published here are the honest opinions of one person, formed after playing each game on an ordinary Android handset. They are not statements of fact and they are not professional advice.
The factual elements of a review - the developer name, the star rating, the number of ratings, the content rating and the date of last update - are taken from the Australian Google Play listing for the app and were checked on 10 September 2026. Store listings change without notice, and you should confirm anything that matters to you against the current listing before acting on it.
Intellectual property
The written text, the page structure, the editorial scores and the design of this site belong to the operator. You may quote a reasonable extract with attribution and a link to the page quoted. Reproducing whole reviews, or generating derivative articles from the text of this site at scale, is not permitted.
Game icons, cover images and screenshots reproduced on this site remain the property of their respective rights holders. They are reproduced in low resolution and in small numbers, alongside critical commentary, as fair dealing for the purpose of criticism or review under section 41 of the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth). Each such image accompanies a review of the work it depicts and is credited to the developer named on the same page.
If you hold rights in an image used on this site and would prefer it removed, write to the address on the contact page and it will be taken down.
Links to other sites
Pages on this site link to Google Play listings and, occasionally, to public information published by Australian regulators. Those destinations are not controlled by the operator, and no responsibility is accepted for their content, their availability or their own handling of your information.
A link is not an endorsement of anything beyond the specific thing it points at.
No warranty, and your consumer rights
This site is provided as it is. No promise is made that it will be available without interruption, that it will be free of errors, or that any particular page will remain published.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, being Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), or under any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a consumer guarantee applies and cannot be excluded, the liability of the operator is limited, to the extent the law permits, to supplying the relevant content again.
Information about consumer guarantees is published by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission at accc.gov.au.
Acceptable use
You may read, print and link to these pages freely. You may not attempt to interfere with the operation of the site, place unreasonable automated load on it, or use it to distribute material that is unlawful.
Automated collection of the text of this site for the purpose of republishing it, in whole or in part, is not permitted. Reasonable indexing by search engines is welcome, and the robots file sets out what is allowed.
Complaints and applicable law
If something on this site is wrong, unfair or infringes your rights, please write to the address on the contact page and describe the problem and the page it appears on. The operator undertakes to consider any such complaint properly and to reply. Corrections of fact are made promptly and without argument.
Please raise a complaint directly before commencing any formal proceedings, so that it has a chance of being resolved without them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. You and the operator submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and of the courts competent to hear appeals from them.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the site changes. The version published on this page is the one that applies, and the effective date is shown beneath the heading.
